Synthetech Facility Tour


Synthetech's kilo lab and pilot plant provide the scale-up facilities to enable us to efficiently implement a commercial manufacturing process while supplying developmental quantities throughout clinical trials.

 

Synthetech's new wastewater treatment facility allows us to meet new regulatory requirements.

 

Synthetech's drying equipment includes several vacuum tray dryers ranging in size from 40 to 128 square feet. Additional drying capabilities include a 10 cubic foot cone dryer and an 80 cubic foot rotary vacuum dryer.

Product isolation is carried out using centrifuges and filter presses. Centrifuges range in diameter from 32 to 48 inches. Plate and frame filter presses are available in polypropylene and stainless steel, and range in size from 18 to 30 inches. In addition, assorted vacuum and pressure nutsche filters and jacketed sparkler filters are utilized.

Synthetech's total commitment to safety and environmental controls is reflected in the state-of-the-art design features of the tank farm and unloading station, which prevent and contain accidental spills and releases.

Sophisticated analytical instrumentation can detect parts-per-billion levels of regulated pollutants in industrial wastewater effluent.
